Transport Options in Pai
Pai is a small town — most places within the center are walkable. For trips to viewpoints, waterfalls and nearby attractions, you can rent a scooter, hire a private taxi or join a shared van. For Chiang Mai transfers, minivans depart daily from the Pai bus station.
Private Taxi vs Shared Van
A private taxi gives you flexibility — you choose the departure time, route and stops. Shared vans are cheaper but run on fixed schedules and make pickup stops along the way. For groups of 2-3, a private taxi is often only slightly more expensive per person.
Chiang Mai Transfers
